Many schools have a strong requirement for CCTV

Its important to see when unwelcomed visitors have entered the schools premises or grounds, as well as recording everyday coming and goings of pupils, staff, deliveries and visitors etc. intruders can be viewed, and bumps and knocks in carparks can be recorded for any disputed claims of damage, to list just a couple of uses for CCTV. It doesn’t have to be crime that you are trying to record, times of arrival/ departure can be verified and movements recorded.

Of course, CCTV will not only deter intruders and unwelcome visitors but crucially record and/or alert you to unauthorised activity, after hours. Pupils are kept safer when CCTV is present, it acts as a deterrent to all unwelcome activity.
